Casey Tomchek is a New York-based documentary producer, photographer and journalist. She is an Associate Producer for the production house ABC News Studios, specializing in longform nonfiction originals for Hulu, and freelances as a concert photographer in the New York and DC metro areas.
Before joining Studios, Casey spent three years with ABC's 20/20, where she worked on Emmy Award-winning investigations, breaking news specials, and the first primetime network newsmagazine to focus on Black life in America, Soul of A Nation.
Casey is a proud public school kid from Montclair, New Jersey. She has dual BAs in broadcast journalism and English literature from the University of Maryland, where she earned national awards from the WHNPA, NPPA and the Gracies for her work as a video journalist covering social issues in Baltimore.
